I’m sorry you are having such a strong reaction to my article. It does not, in fact, go against the teachings of human psychology. Even in positive psychology, there is still a need to acknowledge the negative thought or emotions existence before working to replace it with a positive. In both the Jungian and Buddhist psychological traditions there needs to be space for both the light and the dark to live a full and soulful existence. It does not mean to wallow or to live in the negative, it means to not skip over real experience. Those are very different things.
